Hi! I’m Grace.
I’ve spent much of my life in the kitchen – from romping around as a kid learning to bake at home with my parents, to college days baking stupid and silly study snacks for my six roommates (like a giant Rice Krispie treat shaped like a man), to now, experimenting in my own kitchen and challenging myself to create (and reinvent) my strange, nostalgic treat daydreams (could a dirt n’ worms cup be a Twinkie?).
Growing up with my mom in the catering biz and my dad a chef, I think most of my passion was inherited. Through learning in our home kitchen, then spending some of my teen years in restaurants, and eventually, working in a bakery while living in Seattle, I have been able to take my fascination with baking from hobby to full-time craft.

My inspiration takes root in the sugar-coated, mind-numbingly sweet world of snack foods. Though I didn’t grow up with Little Debbies and Hostess confections often within pantry’s reach, there is something special about the smorgasbord of colorfully packaged childhood snacks that line the aisles of so many gas stations and grocery stores. They remind me how UNserious food actually can be… and sometimes, should be.
My creativity, craft, and love for baking can be seen in each treat I make. My hope is that these cakes bring you the same joy as finding a surprise treat or special note tucked inside your brown bag lunch at school…
a lucky lunchbox, indeed!
Oh, hi
